Spatial Intelligence – Creative and Picture Smart

Spatial – The Builder

  • Your kid has good vision and 3D judgment about images
  • He is very good at visualizing and mentally understanding any thing, idea, concept
  • Excellent understanding of lines, colors, shapes, space
  • Very good at solving puzzles
  • Can visualize and rotate objects graphically or virtually

  • In theory, people who have bodily-kinesthetic intelligence should learn better by involving muscular movement (eg. getting up and moving around into the learning experience)
  • Is good at physical activities such as sports or dance.
  • Has interest in acting or performing
  • Is good at building and making things (breaking too)
  • Such kids often learn best by doing something physically, rather than reading or hearing about it.
  • Use  mostly the muscle memory – they remember things best, when they have used their body such as a word shown in action or images.
  • They use body and actions to convey their ideas, thoughts and emotions.
  • Always have good hand and eye coordination.
  • Have good control over body, speed and are sharp in action.

So what career will interest him: sports teacher, players of any sports, athletes, dancers, musicians, actors, stunt actors, acrobat, gymnasts,surgeons, doctors, builders, police officers, martial art teachers, choreographers,soldiers and any such action filled passions.

Musical Intelligence – Music Smart

  • Loves to sing, play musical instruments, and compose music
  • Learns by listening to lectures live or recorded
  • Uses songs or rhythms to learn and memorize
  • May work best with the background music

You know what career is best for him; singers, songwriters, lyricist, music directors, DJ, any instrument player,  composers, or even music teachers.

  • Is aware and shows concern for the natural surroundings and loves to collect leaves, insects, stones  etc
  • In higher classes is good at recognizing and classifying different species
  • Has a good understanding and ideas about environmental changes, pollution, green revolution etc

  • Are traditionally called kids with good IQ, though now there are the other 7 intelligence too to be considered :)

So you can be assured he will be one of these; astronauts, pilots, chess masters, scientists, mathematicians, detectives, investigators, computer programmers,  lawyers or accountants

They might become   bloggers, copywriters, philosophers, psychiatrists, psychologists, script writers, poets, marine biologists, translators, psychologists, lawyers, religious leaders, orators and writers.

Interpersonal Intelligence – People Smart

Interpersonal – The Peacemaker

  • Your kid interacts with others a lot
  • Is an extrovert, sensitive to others’ moods, feelings, temperaments and motivations
  • Has the ability to cooperate in order to work as part of a group.
  • Can communicate effectively
  • Will empathize easily with others
  • Is a a leaders or easy follower
  • Learns best by working with others
  • Often enjoys discussions and debates.

He can become  a marketing manager, strategist, sales, politicians, managers, leaders,  class monitor, local area leader, military officers, teachers, and social workers.

Linguistic Intelligence – Word Smart

Verbal-Linguistic

  • If your kid has the ability to express ideas with words, spoken or written.
  • Has excellent memory for names, places, dates and small details
  • Good at reading, writing, telling stories
  • Loves to play scrabble, rhyming word game etc
  • Good at memorizing words along with dates.
  • Learns best by reading, taking notes, listening to lectures, and discussion and debate.
  • He is any teacher’s delight.
  • He may be skilled at explaining, teaching and oration or persuasive speaking, so may be good at manipulating you :)
  • Will learn foreign languages very easily

The Writer/Speaker Children with strong Verbal-Linguistic intelligence will have a propensity to produce language and sensitivity to the nuances, order and rhythm of words. So you know your kid will be one of these ; writers, public speakers, teachers, and actors.
